Sprinkle POWDER into clean water.
Leave mixture to stand for approximately 60 seconds.Mix thoroughly with a paddle until a lump free consistency is obtained.
Fill the mould halfway with plaster and rotate the mould gently in all directions to minimize air bubbles.
Your mixture will set in 2-3 hours but it is recommended to leave it for 24hours to fully cure. (not suitable for thin castings)
Pigment oxide colour tints or oxide powders can be added directly into the mix, without any additional water.
Tints are considered to be integral with casting plaster colouring since they are added to the plaster. You can colour plaster with acrylic paint by mixing it into the wet mix.
Note: Adding too much paint can cause cracking or crumbling.
Acrylic paint can be a cheap way to colour plaster mixtures.
The following tints are also considered to be effective.
