Technical Overview

 Mix Ratio: 1-part  powder to 4-parts water by weight.

For example, 100 grams powder:400grams body temperature water

 Pot Life: 3-Minutes with water at 30°C *

 Cure Time: 5-Minutes with water at 30°C *

* Pot life and cure time will vary depending on the temperature of the material and water.

 Colour: light blue powder, but when mixed with water turns purple, and turns back to blue when cured and de-moulding can

take place.

Processing recommendations

 Always add the powder to the water when mixing.

 A wooden stirring stick can be used to mix the material by hand but mixing with a shear mixer attached to a variable speed

hand-held drill will give best results.

 For easier release, use a very light application of petroleum jelly onto the skin and especially onto hair before moulding, this

well help for an easier de-mould.

 Once the body part has been removed from the cured powder mix, pour a suitable casting material into the mould within a few

minutes (try not to leave for too long before casting). As the mould ages, it will start to seep water. If the mould has been

left for a little while before using, be sure to pour out any water before casting, otherwise this may interfere with surface

detail.
